In this course, we will work on some clinical sequences of Thai ayurvedic massage. We will make an introduction to Yogatherapy and we will work with manoeuvres indicated for each dosha. We will use as a working tool at a psychological level an ayurvedic coaching protocol.
We will also work with Ayurvedic massage on a stretcher – with oils customised to the needs of each client – taught in Ayurvedic faculties and hospitals, in which the recipient is massaged in seven traditional positions (which can be reduced to 4 or 2 decubiti) aiming at the maximum therapeutic effect of the herbal oils applied and in which the movements accompany the natural internal movements of the body (blood and lymphatic circulation, digestive and excretory movements). The course is maximised with stretching sequences for specific situations and for each dosha.

- Recovering and maintaining physical, psychic and mental health
- Enlarging respiratory capacity
- Activating blood circulation
- Recovering the maximum level of vital energy, undoing blockages
- Aligning and rebalancing the chakras, energy centres in the body
- Correcting body posture.

There are no prerequisites for the Abhyanga course but it is necessary to consider that it is a challenging course with theoretical and practical evaluation moments throughout the training.
It is recommended to have some knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology for a correct application and understanding of the therapies and techniques involved. If necessary, graduates of this course are offered a 30% discount on the Anatomy and Physiology module taught in the Advanced Course on Complementary Osteopathic Techniques.
As such, this course is open to any therapist and health professional, as well as anyone interested in the subject.
